Fir Lane originally was the Overaa family farm, before the funeral home, cemetery and related facilities were developed on 16 of the farm's 80 acres. The balance of the property remains a natural forest, just the way it was a century ago

We have used that land, which will someday will become part of our cemetery, to grow timber and support wildlife.

In recent years and with the help of the Washington State Department of Natural Resources we have planted 6,250 trees in our undeveloped cemetery property.

We are proud of our heritage and hope to preserve something for furture generations.
