Obituary for Colleen T. Kenyon

Colleen Kenyon, RN

Passed away peacefully on August 6, 2017 surrounded by family. She was born March 17, 1931 in Toppenish WA. After graduating Toppenish HS, she entered St. Mary's School of Nursing in Walla Walla, earning her nurses cap as an RN. She retired from St. Joseph's Hospital in 1997. Only to begin another nursing career for five years at St. Ann's Convent.
In 1954, she married Gordon Kenyon, USMC. He died in 1999. They had three children, Charleen (Diana), Kim, and Marc (Sonja). She is also survived by 3 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
She loved family and friends more than anything.
Services will be held at Fir Lane Memorial Park & Funeral Home, 924 E. 176th Street in Spanaway. A viewing will be Friday, August 11, 3pm - 7pm. Funeral services will be Saturday, August 12 at 11am.
The family requests donations in remembrance to Colleen to Safe Streets Campaign, www.safest.org or to St. Ann's Convent in Tacoma.
