Obituary for Pearl K. Wilson

Pearl Kathryn Wilson Pearl K. Wilson, 92, went to be with Jesus on January 25th, 2018. Pearl was born in Engelvale, ND on Oct. 17th, 1925 to John and Katie Jones. She grew up on a farm with her 9 siblings, and graduated from Elliott High School. During WWII, Pearl was a riveter for Boeing on the B17 and B29. She met and married Dickey Wilson in Seattle, on January 11th, 1947. During the early years of their marriage, Pearl was a hairdresser and Avon representative. After Pearl and Dickey gave their lives to the Lord, Jesus led them into many different ministries including Marriage Ministries International, where they traveled throughout the US, to Malaysia, and the Philippines as ministry leaders. They also served with YWAM in Hawaii. Pearl was involved with AGLOW and International Assoc. of Healing Rooms. She was a long-time member of Life Center in Tacoma. Pearl is survived by her husband, Dickey; sons Greg and Richard (Debra), daughter Cindy Jasmer, and daughter-in-law Becky (Doug's wife); grandchildren Lisa, Christy, Tammy, Brienne, Jody, Craig, Dennis, Jack, Kari, Jeren, Jonah, and Daniel, and 15 great and 6 great-great-grandchildren; as well as many nieces and nephews and her sisters Ellen Kline, Edvina Moran, and Carolyn Barker. She was preceded in death by her son Doug; her sisters Annabelle and Ethel; and her brothers John, Gary, Bill, and Lee. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, February 2nd, at Life Center Rainier, with family graveside service following at 1:00pm at Fir Lane Memorial Park.
