Obituary for Ronald L. Brown

Ronald L. Brown Age 90, passed away peacefully in his sleep on Thursday, July 12th, 2018, at East Haven in Yelm, WA. Ronald was born in Tacoma, WA to the late Henry and Faye Brown. He was a World War II veteran and was a private in the Marines. After his military career, he was a longshoreman for more than 40 years, from which he later retired. He married Patricia Williams on February 15th, 1971 in Enumclaw, WA. Together they raised 7 children and later resided in Roy, WA with their dog Sammy. Ronald was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, and 3 brothers, as well as his son Ricky Brown and step son Jay Dalton. He is survived by his wife Patricia Brown, sons Guy (Eileen) Gatlin, John (Bridget) Dalton, and Willis (Jane) Bradshaw, daughter Jeannie (Kevin) Lane, 12 grandchildren, and 7 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews. Honorary pallbearers will be Josh Prozialeck, Will Jr. Bradshaw, Gene Bradshaw, Michael Dalton, Jonathan Dalton, Bryan Todd, William Thompson, and Sean Vasquez. Funeral and graveside services will be held at 10am on Wednesday, July 18th, 2018, at Fir Lane Memorial Park & Funeral Home in Spanaway, WA. There will be a potluck celebration of life immediately following at the Lacamas Community Center in Roy, WA.
