Obituary

Louis Betschart Was born in Tacoma on June 9, 1919. He grew up on a dairy farm and lived in the Spanaway area his entire life. He was the last surviving member of his family of fifteen siblings. He is survived by four children, Ronald Betschart of Spanaway, Johnnie Marie Staatz of Tacoma, Brenda Lee Betschart of Tacoma, and Henry Keith Betschart of Mossyrock, as well as many, many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and even great-great-grandchildren. Louie was raised as a dairyman, and worked at Flett Dairy. He also worked as a logger, wood cutter, and auto wrecker. A celebration of his life will be held early this summer.
